MC Dec/13 - Mixed Media Cups - Find Yourself

http://www.yogiemp.com/HP_cards/MiscChallenges/MiscChallenges2013/MCDec13_MixedMediaCups_FindYourself.html
I was in a mood to do a mixed media journal/card type design - rare for me... and even rarer using scrapbook papers..., especially after watching a video by Vicky Papaioannou  (http://www.pinterest.com/pin/188588303120186523/or on You Tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOihCLI8Y7A) that was really well done.

I used my electronic cutter for the cups and quote stamps by Quietfire Design .

You can see all the details and descriptions and more views by clicking on card image. Enjoy.

And it fits for these challenges:
Oozak Challenge  #28  something new & old (the cups, mixed media & the red thread; the squares stamp is one of my first stamps many many years ago...wow how quickly time passes)
Desert Island Crafts  #68 use at lease 3 items: Snow/snowflakes, Die Cuts, 2 or more papers,  Ribbon/Twine,  Bells/Charms,  Lace, Flowers, Bling , Make a gift, Red/Green
Bearly Mine  #117 anything goes
TTCRD Challenge  #17 - 23 anything goes
Crafty Creations  #253 anything goes
4 Crafty Chicks  #173 distressing
One Stitch at a Time  #194 anything goes

Oh what a gorgeous card Yogi. Your colouring is so warm and distinctive. I have to smile at your sentiment as I've been known to invite close friends to make themselves at home and make the coffee (I don't drink tea). You are such a talented crafter and I enjoy your creations so much Yogi. Good luck in our extended challenge. Ingrid xx ( OSAAT Team )

I love all things coffee related. Maybe because of the association with relaxing, the warmth. Maybe it's the colors. I don't know, but I sure like this. Merry Christmas, Yogi!

This is really lovely Yogi - I love the script under the cup and the way the cups are all piled up - brilliant.
