MC Nov/14 - Quill Pine Bough - Blessed is the Season

There is a challenge that called for white on white Xmas card... So we had our quilling session yesterday at my home. Taught the ladies how to make rose buds which worked out really well. Then I taught one of the ladies that just purchased one of my jumbo & normal sized quill comb gadgets how to use them. We all got going making pine boughs and things... So I ended up making some white ones too.

Folded my white card (4.25"w x 5.5"h). Cut a piece of white pearlized diamond patterned paper (from my Paper Roots stash) and layered it almost edge to edge. I left a scant 1?32" border.

Embossed some white cardstock using Ultimate Crafts "Winter Pine Cone Flourish" embossing folder. Trimmed it apart and adhered to card leaving the paper between the borders showing...

Stamped the quote (Quietfire Design) using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Adhered the satin fabric snowflake ribbon. Then adhered the quilled elements. I had run them through some PVA glue and then sprinkled with Stickles "Star Dust" glitter.

As a final touch added some mini white half pearls.

On the inside stamped the ping bough (Old Island Rubber) using Versamark and embossed with Stampendous "Stardust" embossing powder (has a light silver touch to it. Stamped the sentiment (Quietfire Design 9 pce set) with the black and clear embossed.
