On Canson Mixed Media paper drew the curved lines and filled with a Celtic pattern of cross lines. Added some colored pencil shadow lines. Added some lightly shaded areas with various greens (hard to see...) then added the text with the narrow tip of the calligraphy marker.

Such wisdom in this quote. I like this piece and I appreciate the skill required to create it.
