Building Blocks - Fail Better

Continuing with what I saw on Instagram a few times... created a 2nd piece...

BVCG Env Exc - Aug 2025 - Renate Worthington

Env created onGenoa Bond paper, Funky letters with a Marvy 5.0 Calligraphy marker and doodled with various colored metallic gel pens. Deco roses with Prisma colored pencils.

The insert (not a card) was something I created a long time ago and colored with FineTech metallic paints

On St Armand watercolor paper using a Rosemary & Co #08 Triangle Brush double dipping into Gansai Tambi Granulating w/c (Aurora Pink and Orange). Adding graphite shadowing with a Caran d'Ache B pencil and paper stump. Then a small highlight with a Unibal white gel pen.

Hexagons - Don't Be Square

Again I had created the hexagons a while back and finally finished it...

On Canson XL Pen & Ink paper painted the flowers and then outlined with a black Juice Up pen. Text written with a med Blue Juice Up pen in a Renee style lettering and white Uniball gel pen dots.

On Canson Black XL Drawing  paper colored the gem image with Prisma colored pencil. Used Uniball white gel pen as well as a Juice Up and white ink. Lettering with the white gel pen in a funky lettering style.

I wondered about the spelling of Saphire and looked it up before I wrote it and this is the way it was spelt... And now writing this post it said I spelt "Saphire" wrong. sheesh... Since writing this post a friend decided to look it up as well and found it said this was an alternative way to write it. thank you
