Celtic Key Pattern - O - Okay

For this one I went straight to designing

On Canson Pro Marker paper created my O-Emerald design border using a Faber Castell calligrapy broad edge C pen (1/10"), colored with Posca colored pencils.

Celtic Key Patterns - Z - Zees

We had our Celtic ZOOM meeting a couple days ago and some of the gals had done a "Z/T" pattern and then Adrienne created one on Procreate... and I thought I'd do anotherone as well. Mine is different in that it is 2 interlocking "Z's", so I guess it's kind of a Celtic Knotwork pattern as well....

I used the same template as yesterday's post from some cardstock and then just twisted and turned it to create the design.

On Fabriano Mixed Media paper using a Signo Black gel pen. Painted using Finetec Rose Gold (given to me by a good friend) and Gansi Tambi "Light Gold #905"

The word is one of the Art Nouveau lettering styles from my recent class with Violet Smythe.

Celtic Key Patterns - Z - Shades of Brown

On Canson Pro Marker paper using my cut out template created the design using a Zig Writer, then I thought some of the lines would work as a knot pattern  and then I was in a mood to add spaces between my pattern... You know how these things evolve...
Colored the negative spaces with Posca colored pencils in... shades of brown... and then decided to doodle inside some of the letters using brown Juice Up pen and a Unibal Signo Gold gel pen. Lettering for the words is something I came across on dribbles.com

Celtic V Embossed and Metallic Rub On

I created a cut file with my Silhouette Cameo cutter , and cut out 2 on 110# cardstock adhering them together. Then embossed on the blue cardstock. Then I thought of using my Old Island Stamps - Metallic Rub On (gold). I should have used a sponge applicator so as not to get it around the design but just on the high points... It's been toooo long since I've used that stuff.

Since I goofed reading the list of mailing exchange names I made a 2nd envelope for Adrienne...
I went in  a Celtic direction for her envelope. Since it's Valentine month added hearts... The card was made during one of the Workshop onLine classes I took.

Celtic Knot Alphabet - Slip Knot Booklet

I can't believe I've finally finished my Celtic Knot Alphabet challenge.. and it's all glued in on the pages and bound... it took exactly 4 months...

I used a Slip Knot Single page binding technique which I love.

Celtic - Z - Gilded

And finally the last letter of the alphabet. Now to finish adhering everything in the booklet I made for it...

I decided to gild the negative areas rather than the letter itself.

On red cardstock outlined my Celtic letter with a Zig black pen. Applied Gerry Tresser gold size and gilded with C. Roberson 23K Red Gold Leaf. Added a couple of gold rhinestones.

PS the pic was taken at an angle to show the gold. Sorry the bottom of the letter turned silver in the pic...

On Recollections Purple cardstock using silver Uniball gel pen for the outline, Black Edition pink colored pencil for the shading.

Celtic W - Doodled

Thought I'd do my last 3 letters on colored cardstock... And Kelly Barone challenged us while she's healing, She'd love it if we shared with her some fun things we're working on! And if we can't think of anything fun to share, maybe try out her Zentangle pattern BrrSt!

On blue Recollections 65# cardstock outline my "W" using Kuretake Silver Mica ink and a Nikko G nib. Balance of artwork with Metallic and regular Juice Up pens. Colored the centers if knot work and diamonds with Black Edition colored pencil.

On Black Black cardstock outlined my Celtic letter using a pointed nib and Bleed Proof white ink. Gilded with Mona Lisa Variegated Leaf using Gerry Tresser gold size.

I went in a very graphic style..

On Fabriano 1264 Mixed Media paper outlined the letter with a Zig Writer. Painted, bended with Derwent Inktense w/c pencils and water. The knot work with Gansai Tambi "Champagne Gold". Graphite shadowing.

Celtic - T

I saw this bird image on line and said to myself it would make a great cross line for a "T"...

On black cardstock inked with white Juice Up pen, painted the border with US ArtQuest Mica paint "Copper Pipe". The inner design colored with Black Edition greenish pencils.

Celtic - S

I felt like doing one of my Celtic letters on something besides white or black...

On blue cardstock, inking the outline with Gansai Tambi "White Gold" and pointed nib. Details with a Signo Uniball Silver gel pen. Colored with Black Edition colored pencils.

Celtic Q Doodled

After creating the Celtic design yesterday, I thought if I rounded the edges it would make a great "Q" for my Celtic Alphabet... Only 8 more letters to go...

Celtic Letter P

I thought I was only going to do 3 Celtic letters during the holidays... but then I was inspired to do a "P"... which I found on Pinterest from (colorwithfuzzy.com) and used part of her design as inspiration for the bowl of the "P"

Slight distortion of letter to show the shine of the silver paint...

On Bee Super Deluxe paper created my letter with a Juice Up pen. Colored the strings with Derwent Inktense w/c pencils and blended with a wet paintbrush. Painted the interior and hearts with Art Quest Mica Colors (silver, gold, copper)

Celtic Alphabet - O

Continuing the Celtic Knot alphabet - I'm over half way...

On Canson Mixed Media Paper  outlined my Celtic letter with a Juice Up pen. Colored the left border with Gansai Tambi gold w/c paint and added decorative black dots.

Colored all the knotwork with Ken Oliver Liquid Sparkle (Limoncello Ice and Samba Ice), both have a touch of sparkle to them which you can't see in the image - sigh, moved the color around with a wet paintbrush. I never thought these were so nice...

On Canson Mixed Media Paper  outlined my Celtic letter with a Juice Up pen. Colored with Derwent Inktense watercolor pencil (Field Green & Iris Blue) and blended with a wet paintbrush. Added some doodling and white gel pen highlights.
