BVCG May Lettering Challenge Day 1 & 2

Another month - another lettering challenge... this one's theme is Hello/Friend multilingual

Since I'm taking an online calligraphy class with Barbara Close "Pointed Pen Possibilities" series with the fist class being "Copperplate Essentials" I thought I'd practice the lettering for this month's challenge. Since pointed pen work is rather small I decided to add flowers and things.

The binding for this month will be 3 waterfall inserts into a book form. I've finished making the book structure and it works, so I'm very happy. Need to photograph it.

Oct/19 - Easel Waterfall card Hello - In A Perfect World

 

This is an easel card and the waterfall is on the floor as a stopper. I recently came across the Lawn Fawn die set and video instructions. So easy... BIG GRIN

I'm using a die "Warm" and "Hugs" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design   

And I'm using rubber stamp sentiment and quote stamps from Quietfire Design ("In A Perfect World" 4pce set);

Aug/19 - Waterfall Card - ECD Merci - Friendship Thanks

This is a top fold card and the front is the waterfall construction. I recently came across the Lawn Fawn die set and video instructions. So easy... BIG GRIN

I'm using a die "Merci" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

This is a side fold card with the waterfall construction on the inside. I recently came across the Lawn Fawn die set and video instructions and decided to make it on my own... BIG GRIN Also using my newest stamp set and die from John Next Door (Christmas Rose and Ivy Corner) - love them.
