I recently acquired a digi Dragonfly image from Squigglefly which I separated from the background then finally got around to using my print & cut feature on my Cameo... I guess I'll be using that feature quite a bit now... Now all I have to do is figure out how to use it in my SCAL software which is my preferred software.
Also picked up a bunch of new cardstock at warehouse prices from my local craft store, so thought I'd give some of it a use...
Side folded my base to create a 5"w x 7"h card. The decorative piece is something I made a while back on watercolor paper, spraying and misting all kinds of colors and sprinkling sea salt on it and setting it aside to dry naturally. That allows all the stuff to do wonderful things. Layered it on to another of the cardstock (mango) which I trimmed down using my "Perfect Layers" ruler set (they work really well). Adhered to card.
Adhered a piece of glittered ribbon on the left side, then topped it with a die cut - Tim's "Courtyard" from black cardstock which was then inked with Perfect Medium and embossed with a sprinkling of black and some "Midnight Gold Obsidian" then heat set. I cut down the design to only have one strip.

Stamped the word "Dragonfly" (Quietfire Design) using a Versafine "Toffee" pad and embossing with "Queen's Gold" embossing powder then shadow outlining the word with a fine tipped micron pen.
As I mentioned the dragonfly was taken out of the background and then manipulated in the Studio software, printed and cut. I then painted with various colors of glitter using a Quickie Glue pen, some Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter, Distress Glitter & Premium Glitter. The body I adhered brown flocking and added mini black rhinestones for the eyes. Adhered to card with 3D black foam squares.
On the inside stamped the "Happy Birthday" (Quietfire Design) with the toffee and embossed with white embossing powder. Stamped the two sizes of dragonflies (Quietfire Design) with Versafine "Black Onyx" and embossed with Pearl Lustre embossing powder.
I think it turned out as a good guy birthday card.
