BVCG Lettering Challenge Wk 4

BVCG Lettering Challenge Wk 4 and the month is done... I'm not that happy with this piece and maybe I'll do something else... This is a 3 layer piece. I liked the 1st 2 layers but then I struggled with the 3rd layer to make it show up. First tried some red lettering, then over lay that with a gold gel pen and then finally wrote the words on some vellum. Not the way I had envisioned...

BVCG March Lettering Challenge Booklet

March has ended and now all my words are happily sitting in this booklet for easy viewing. 

One of my friends was showing a bunch of other friends at our bi weekly get togethers how to make it. I was absently listening not thinking I would ever make it... but then I started playing and the next thing I knew I altered it to fit all 31 words. Love the result.

Oct/19 - Side Fold Deco Art Bkgrd - Have an Awesome Day - Give Every Day A Chance

I finally got around to playing with my Deco Art Media paints (available from (Kensington Art Supplies) making a similar background that I made for the Phone Stand taught by Tracie Moreau at "The Paper And Ink Boutique" last month... I made 2 cards with the background and this is the first one.

I came across a gorgeously colored green poinsettia and had to imitate it done by Laura Jane using The Ton "Poinsettia Close Up" background stamp. You can see her post HERE. I don't have this particular stamp from 2017, so I hand drew my interpretation of the image. I have since made it in 4 other colors beside the green one...

And I'm using some rubber quote stamps from Quietfire Design "The Earth Laughs In Flowers... 2pce set"; "There Are Always Flowers... 2pce set"; "God Gave Us Memory..."

ID: Bkgr'd Oxides - Scribbles
Sponge Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet. Misted the Tim Holtz "Scribbles" stencil with water and pressed down on cardstock. Pressed with a paper towel, then dried.

 

ID: June/19 - ATC Scribbles - The Earth Laughs

Stamped the quote using Versafine Clair "Glamorous Pink" and clear embossed. Stamped the flower (The Ton "Magnolia") using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" and clear embossed.

 
ID: June/19 - ATC Scribbles - There Are Always

Stamped the quote onto a tracing vellum using the Twilight and clear embossing. Adhered to ATC with Glossy Accents. Added the die cut butterfly from an alcohol background. Added black rhinestones to the body.

 

ID: June/19 - ATC Scribbles - God Gave Us

Stamped the quote using Versafine Clair "Golden Meadow" and embossed with Queen's Gold. Die cut the roses from white cardstock, inked the outline with the Glamorous pink and clear embossed. Adhered both parts together and then onto ATC. Added the stem with a green colored pencil.

June/19 - ATCAD19 - ATC Swirly Curves - Create Without Limits, Dream With Your Eyes

And more from my stash... This is for #ATCAD2019 June challenge day 19 & 20.

I'm using a couple rubber quote stamps from Quietfire Design,
("Create Without Limits"); ("Dream With Your Eyes...")

Inked up the embossing folder (Elizabeth Craft Designs "Swirly Curves" sorry discontinued) and ran through my machine.

Stamped the quotes onto a pale yellow vellum using the Versafie Clair "Twilight" stamp pad and clear embossing. Die cut with Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Circles" die set. Adhered to ATC's with Glossy Accents.

Ran a red Zig Writer around the edges.

MC Feb/18 - 3D Vignette - ECD Happy Anniversary - Love Does Not Consist

Becca Feecan came out with some really nice Spellbinder's die sets to create 3D Vignettes. Sorry Becca I don't have any of those dies yet... This time I've hidden the tabs and the card still lays flat for mailing... You can see the other cards/booklet I made HERE and HERE   and it lays perfectly flat for mailing... especially since I didn't put any 3dimensional things on or in it...
 
And I recently received a bunch of goodies from Ecstasy Crafts and in there was a Sue Wilson die "Frames and Tags - Poppy" die set. Since I made a vertical card last week using this die set, I thought I'd make a landscape one this time...I'm using the same principles as Becca's.

MC May/16 - Kensington Bag - ECD Love You - Just For You Mom

I've been having fun with the Kensington Bag from Tonic Studios... The first one I made was a sort of prototype and I didn't finish the backside BIG GRIN, but loving it any way... (see pic below)
