Sarkis BD 2026

I created the env using Genoa Bond paper and my funky lettering style, doodling in each letter. Sponged some Distress brown around the edges. Added a bunch of stamps I liked.

The card was made after an ECS class with Sally Towers-Syblliss

Purple Geli Print - Origami Env - Bow Closure

size: 5"w x 3.5"h

I saw this cute bow origami env and had to make 1 (actually had to make 2 others before I got to this one...)

I used my purple toned geli printed paper 20cm sq

I love the bow it makes. 

BVCG Env Exc - Aug 2025 - Renate Worthington

Env created onGenoa Bond paper, Funky letters with a Marvy 5.0 Calligraphy marker and doodled with various colored metallic gel pens. Deco roses with Prisma colored pencils.

The insert (not a card) was something I created a long time ago and colored with FineTech metallic paints

ECS Env Exchange - Jan 2025 - Barbara Keir

For the envie I used a heavy weight (unknown brand) of text paper. I adhered the design done on Canson Mixed Media paper to the front and camouflaged it with the red border... For the lettering used 2 (3.8) parallel pens, one filled with Ecoline Scarlet ink the other with deAtramantis pearlescent (Cyan/Copper) ink in a funky style lettering, graphite/paper stump shadow. Address with 2 colors of Juice Up pen.
Card was something I created last year.

Envie made with Canson Mixed Media paper. Cadel style initial using a 3.4 parallel pen and 2 brushes, one loaded with water and the other 2 with a green and blue watercolor (Holbien Permanent Green #1 & Peacock Blue) dropped into the wetness. Thin lines with a pointed nib.

BVCG Envelope Exchange - Nov - Violet Smythe

Env created from Canson Mixed Media paper, funky lettered with an Automatic Pen (from Betty Locke) using a lot of water then spraying with Brusho powder Ost Red, dropping in a touch of walnut crystals and the Neuberg Ebel gold powder. Let dry then shadowed with a gold gel pen.

The card was created for a Scribbled Lives challenge (Cut & Paste) funky letters cut from brown craft cardstock and doodled with a white gel pen.

Env: Created the env on Edge Mixed Media Sketchbook paper. I love this Blue Rider Typeface that I discovered a while back for your name on the envie and quote on the card front. Colored with Posca colored pencils. I'm using Tutti Designs Leaves Background "Tutti 388" die from white cardstock then colored with various Distress pads in yellow, red and green. Cut them apart to border the envie.

I've been playing with my wax seals again (it's been years since I used them last...) so had to add one to your card front.

Env: I used Edge Mixed Media Sketchbook paper. I love this Blue Rider Typeface that I discovered a while back for your name on the envie and quote on the card front. Colored with Posca colored pencils. I'm using Tutti Designs Maple Vine Frame "Tutti 139" die from white cardstock then colored with various Distress pads in yellow, red and green. Cut the frame apart to border the envie.

I've been playing with my wax seals again (it's been years since I used them last...) so had to add one to your card front.

The card was a postcard size artwork create a while back using part of a very large stencil and my funky writing. Adhered to a blue top fold card.

Envelope Donna Uncles - Aug 2024

I'm in my Guild's envelope exchange this year and for some reason I thought I was sending Donna one for Sept... Now you know where my brain is at... I had sent one to Donna a couple months ago. So back to the drawing board for the one I need to send to.

I had made this envelope a while back and it sat sitting in my pile of stuff... I used a too small piece of white paper for the envelope so added left over pieces of geli print paper. Then used the same colors for her name done in Moshik Nadav style lower case letters (I love this lettering style but it's only good for titles and stuff). Used a Nikko G nib and various brands of watercolors for her name. Juice Up pen for the address. The postcard is from a bunch of postcards I made a while back...

And of course I put the name upside down on the front so wrote "Ha Ha Upside Down" on the back of the envie... ROFL

ECS Env Exchange May 2024 - Betty Locke

Another month of envelopes...

Env: Created a stencil from 2 layers of 110# Staples cardstock and embossed into the Elephant Hide paper. Added a shadow line with a Posca light brown colored pencil. Address done with Juice Up pen.

The gem card was made with some artwork I created a while back... layered onto several colors of cardstock/papers 

ECS - Envelope Exchange May 2024 - Geri Arkell

Env: On Genoa Bond calligraphy paper stamped the hand made Notebook rubber stamp page inked with Distress Oxide pads and misted with water. Lettering in Wes Wilson style lettering using a Zig Writer for the outlines and Mattehop pens to color.

Card was made with some artwork I created a while back... (stencils and I think Distress pads). I added the "Hello My Friend and adhered to a cream toned card base.

Env & BD Card - Harriet

Since I've been taking an Art Nouveau class with Violet Smythe recently, I thought I'd continue using it for the envelope and quote...
Envelope on Columbia Mills LBS End paper using Zig Writer for the name and Posca colored pencils for the flowers.
The floral image on the card was done in 2020 and I finally attached it to a card base... Also added the quote using a Juice Up pen.

Env: Misc unknown heavy weight paper. I was in the mood for something a little abstract with flowers... and the fuchsias evolved. Name done in Blue Ridge Typeface using a combo of Zig Writer and Juice up pen and Prisma colored pencils.

Card: was a fun play with a tangle I saw and some geli print background.

Env: unknown heavy weight paper. I drew the tulips and colored with Prisma colored pencils. The name done in Vanitie Romans using  Pentel Mattehop gel pens. Added a piece of geli print on the edge.
