Gilded BD card and others

I've been designing some gilded cards for a couple classes I'll be teaching in August. Experimenting too... BIG GRIN. Anyway this one uses Sookwang tape which I don't recommend at the moment. Will have to try it on other cardstocks to see if I'm getting the same cushiony type of feel to the gilding which is not good. But it definitely is waaaay easier to apply this way. And I was trying something using the Cuttlebug embossing folders - that didn't work either. But The end result turned out really nice.

These are the other gilded cards - and yes can you believe I'm making xmas cards before it's even summer. Sheesh:
I'm not that happy with the positioning of the words in the "Just for You" card, have to work on that one. Click on images to go to their respective web pages for more details etc. Enjoy

The cards are awesome. Try putting the tape on vellum first and then through the Cuttlebug. I do that with the metal foil and it really takes and you can then trim it, etc. without the design leaving. I have to take a look at that tape. I've never heard of it. What is it like?
