CBH August 18 Blue/Purple

I'm not partial to blue, but blue and purple together is just fine, so wouldn't you know it, I go overboard again, and that's what this week's theme on Created By Hand is, the color combo of Blue & Purple.
I made the herringbone pattern first - but not the card till last. I got sidetracked with the flip flop card after seeing the vid clip on Club Scrap. Was intrigued, so decided to make one and of course figured I might as
well use our theme colors.
Then got sidetracked again, when I picked up the Maya Road acrylic scalloped pages (dirt cheap) and decided to turn one into a hand bound journal. Covers done with alcohol inks.
So in essence I have 3 projects done for this week's challenge.
Click on any pic to see descriptions and detail images etc for that item.
Enjoy

I love your cards, especially the spatter one. But,the journal takes the prize for beauty. It is gorgeous.

I'm going to check out Club Scrap.
