ggdesigns Aug/09 Veneer

Well this month's challenge over at ggdesigns is very interesting. We were asked to use wood veneer, yea that's right, real wood... Well that's not something that's in most people's arsenals, but a trip to the hardware store should net you some at relatively little cost. Makes a unique card. So I picked up some Birch & some Oak (the only two they had), colored some of it with Distress stamp pads, rubber stamped (Quietfire Design quote and sentiment) on them, included other textural elements, even some "real" gold leaf and voila.
