MCApr_Easter Lily Thanks

This is another challenge for the blog hop, forgot I had to do the previous one, since they have a mid week challenge. So this is challenge #13 on Scrap that Poetry and it was Easter flower gift. Since Easter is a little "passer" now, I figured use the lily and make it a thank you instead.

I started with white cardstock, sponging some Distress and Kaleidacolor pads in the purple fuchsia tones, then misting with water. Dried it.

Next stamped the flower (Stubby Stampers #1498) with Versafine Black Onxy and clear embossed it, then die cut it with a Spellbinders oval. Did the matching scallop in a purple cardstock and one scallop size larger, sponging with above colors. Colored the lily with some Prisma colors, just a touch of pink and then blending with white, and a touch of brown on the stems and leaves. Layered the largest scallop on the card, then the gauze flower patterned ribbon, then the next scallop and finally the lily. Added a Resin blob I had made a while back. New it would come in handy one day.

Punched the edge of the cardstock with a Martha Stewart scallop dot border punch and layered this onto the main purple card. Cut the butterfly out with my Cricut on purple cardstock and then embossed with Holographic. Finally rubber stamped the word Thanks! (Quietfire Design)

It also covers a few challenges:
Charisma Cardz #15 Monochromatic
Creative Prompts 4 You #11 Use clear plastic or whatever plus the inspiration butterfly image
No Time to Stamp #135 Any shade of purple or lavender, brown and ivory
Rosie D's #68 Blessings - Easter or whatever. (I give thanks to the blessings I've been given)
