CBH Aug 10 Yellow - Dried Flowers Amen

Well after having a play day with one of my friends and trying out her Lee Valley Microwave Floral Drying Press, I had to have one. It comes in 2 sizes and picked the smaller size for a grand total of $30Cdn. I remember way back when, when they first came out they were quite expensive, and even though it tempted me at the time, I ignored the temptation. I'm so glad I got one now. Have been having fun drying flowers from my garden. BIG GRIN. And I got to use my latest Spellbinders die "Labels Large" - love it.

Anyway, this week's theme over on Created By Hand and Quietfire Creations is "Welcome" or the color "Yellow".

And it also uses a Quietfire Design rubber stamp from the Nature Quote Marks set

Click on card to see close ups, details and descriptions etc. Enjoy

It also fits for these challenges:
Cinspiration #72 recipe - 5 flowers, 3 papers & 1 ribbon
Color Throwdown #104 Color Inspiration: Olive, Daffodil Yellow & Tangerine Tango
Penny's challenges #35 Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday #124 Anything goes
Raise the Bar #30 use Pearls
Mark's Finest Papers #15 Make your own embellishments (my dried flowers)
SSDS Challenge #49 No images, only sentiments, die cuts, embellishments etc.
