CBH Aug 17 - Stitching - Weaving Under Quilt

This weeks Created By Hand & Quietfire Creations theme is Take a Hike" or "Stitching". Now it's probably a little far fetched, but if I was to take a hike... I'd want a quilt, and since I put stitching on it, it fits both options.

Love the way this turned out and all done with scraps & slivers. This is a direct result of the tidying up I did a few weeks ago. I used those tower drawers Gracious Living" and filled each drawer with it's own type of left over papers. One with only white value type cardstock - I was always pulling out a new sheet when i needed some, now I go directly to the drawer. Then I had one for all those slivers that I trim off cardstock and my decorated papers - which is what this card used. Then I have one for cardstock under a 1/4 sheet size and one for over over a 1/4 sheet size (the first is good for my dies, or Cricut, whereas the second is good for layering on my cards and stuff. Then I have similar sizes for my Decorative paper. Boy did that bring me down memory lane. Then theirs one (actually one plus an IBIS box) for all those die cuts, punched items and Cricut stuff - organized by type of course. Now this tower was a little too high for my small room - made it claustrophobic, so I divided the tower in two. Works so well.

Anyway I'm using a Quietfire Design rubber stamp made for Joanne which I love. So click on card to see details and descriptions etc. Boy was I chatted today. BIG GRIN
