So some of you may have seen my tutorial on more ways to use your border punches other than for borders, be they Martha Stewart or EK Success. If not you can check it out HERE
Well ever since I used the Daisy Deep Edger from Martha, I always looked at the drop out pieces and said I have to do something with those. I finally did - BIG GRIN.
#1, 2 & 4 have a 1" punched out circle as a base, then a ring of white PVA glue which I then inserted a row of these petal shapes, allowed it to dry and put another ring of PVA, slightly smaller than the first ring and inserted another row of petal shapes. I finally put a big blob in the center and added more petal shapes, allowing each row to dry before proceeding with the next row. This made sure I didn't move the petals as I was adding another row. When all done and dried, I added a blob of Jones Tones Plexi glue (keeps it's shape) and sprinkled bright yellow flock to mimic the fluffy centers of some flowers. Gently tapped it down and allowed to dry, then removed any excess flock. Used Rangers black glossy enamels for the dots.
#3 flower I didn't use a cardstock base, I just put a blob of PVA on my craft mat and started the assembly allowing it to dry between rows as above.
#2 flower I used Stickles in a yellow for the dots and then topped the yellow with a touch of a bright green Stickles.

Oh what pretty flowers! You're very creative. I have that Daisy Fan punch and all this time I've just been sweeping those insides right into the wastebasket.
You're so creative, Yogi!
