CBH May 24 - Purple - Pop Up Amen

So I decided to try out this pop up card I saw on Martha Stewarts website
http://www.marthastewart.com/how-to/pop-up-card-for-mothers-day?czone=holiday/spring-celebrations-cnt/celebration-mother-day#slide_0

The flower on the front is hand painted Organza cut into rectangles and each petal sewn and attached to the preceding one. Added the hand made button from air dry polymer clay and then sewed on some beads. It's layered on to a stationary paper of daisies and other ghost floral images.

Must admit there card is a lot brighter and spring feeling, but since it was my first time, I thought I'd make it from misc materials... plus incorporate purple for this week's Created By Hand and Quietfire Creations challenge. I'll make it again in brighter colors one day.

The quote is from Quietfire Design.

I especially like the inside. It's a clever design. You have much patience with your hand sewing!
