I had started with some already mixed clay and added other scraps which gave me a greyish blend, which I then extruded, coiled and lay down on another thin piece of clay (dark green blend). I then cut around my coil work and removed the negative areas. I sponged Distress greens on some cardstock, misted with water, dried and then stamped the word "Fiddleheads" and the Fiddlehead Ferns (both by Quietfire Design) with more Distress greens. Then I adhered my polyclay layer.
And this weeks theme over on Created By Hand and Quietfire Creations is "2 colors" which mine is - green & grey.

You are too hard on yourself. Yours is wonderful in a different way. That, my friend, is where creation takes you! I love it and the colors too!
Cool! I love the fiddleheads- you are so creative!
