WOYWW Sept/11 #119

I had a little health issue crop into my life and am still not 100% myself... but getting better and better each day.
This is what my desk looks like, cutting apart some new Halloween rubber I got from Quietfire Design and then cataloging it in the book you see at right.

Anyway, to see why I'm showing these pics, just hop on over to Julia's blog Stamping Ground to see a bunch  of other work surfaces BIG GRIN.

I have 1 book full with quote/words/alphabets etc; 3 full with all the images divided by themes, I also have one full with all embossing folders and 1 for all my punches/die cuts etc. I reference these books every day when I'm creating, refreshing my mind and pick just the right item for a project. It takes a little time initially, but it such a time  saver in the end. The pages are done with a comb binding machine and pages can be added or removed as needed.

You might have remember the shoe I was working on a couple weeks ago. You can now see both of them finished on that back desk area. To see more of them just click HERE.

I'm a great believer in writing everything down cos while you may think you'll remember something, you invariably don't!! Or least, maybe that's just me.... :D xx

Oh how inspiringly well filed you are! I think 'takes a little time' may be an under play, but I get the investment has paid off - great idea.
