Very pretty card Yogi. I like the way you have used the circle die image as your scallop edges and then echoed it on the inside with glitter.

Your cards are lovely. Butterflies were my friend's favourite things, Sharon passed away 2 yrs ago and every time I see a butterfly it reminds me of her.

I can see this card in card stores - it's lovely, Yogi! You've taken a very creative butterfly stamp and had it flit to the corners ... movement reflective of subject. More creativity! :-)

We're just heading back to Canada after a lovely time in the Californian sun. With SNOW forecast for tomorrow's leg of our journey, the last thing I expected to see when I got online in the motel, was BUTTERFLIES! Beautiful card, Yogi!

I really like the way you have used the Spellbinders and layered and embossed the shapes. It makes a really pretty centrepiece and of course you can't go wrong with pink glitter!

Judith said...

I like how you masked the phrase so that only the word "butterfly" appears in the large scallops

Yogi, you used a lovely combination of design elements to make this a really special card. I love that you went for the bigger size (A6, I guess), and you have inspired me to dig out my Distress Ink pads again. I love your use of the glitter adhesive sheet to not only make a sparkly background for the card but a pretty interior page as well. All in all, this is really well-designed card with all the different elements and colors working perfectly together. Very pretty!
