Well after anxiously waiting since the Thursday before Easter, my new Quietfire Design rubber has arrived!!! Love them all. The little bees are so cute. And you can gather which of the new stamps was my favorite... The only problem is I hate bees. Sigh!! Well maybe not so much bees as wasps and those other stingy winged creatures.
So I had done the quilled honeycomb when I first saw the samples of the stamps that were going to come, so all I had to do today, was stamp the little bees and the quote and then of course photograph it and write about it, and now that's done, I can start on my next card. Not sure which stamp I want to use though, they're all so pretty.
The inspiration for the beehive was from a banner on this ladies blog, the only problem is she's changed her banner... I also learnt the technique of beehive quilling from her as well, but when I googled it, I realized there were a lot of sites giving the instructions. It's a fun and versatile technique.
