MC Aug/12 - CAS - Heart Felt

My first card created in my new art room. The room is still in a disaster stage... still have 2 more shelving units to build and then sort everything out. Another couple weeks and it should be done. But loving the room so far. Pics to follow when done BIG GRIN

Some of the reasons this card got made is because of a Clean And Simple card challenge, a very simple sketch (I don't normally follow sketches, but this time...) and a monochromatic type color challenge, and voila, card done.

The card is 4.25w x 5.5"h side folded white cardstock. Stamped the floral heart (Flourishes "Hearts & Flowers" set) with Versafine Black Onyx and colored with Prisma colors, adding white to blend. Stamped the quote (Quietfire Design) with the black and did an outline of the heart in Stickles. Stamped the little hearts with a mix of 3 stamp pad inks (chalk, dye and pigment). Scored a border around the card with my Scor-It board. Filled in the centers of the flowers with the Stickles.
