QF Rubber - Yum - My Dark Side

I got my newest rubber from  Quietfire Design and they're fabulous. Fun, quirky and emotional...

I can't say I'm a chocaholic, but I do like it every once in a while... and for some reason it spoke to me and I decided it would be my first stamp to use from the 16 that I got... BIG GRIN - yup you heard right 16 stamps, and you'll be seeing what I come up with as the days progress.

Anyway, I found a colorable cocoa pod image, altered it a bit and printed it out as a legal size card (4"w x 8.5"h), colored with Prisma colored pencils. Stamped the sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Bordered the design with gold Peel Off lines. Wrote in my word "YUM" using my funky new style of lettering and an Itoya Double Header Calligraphy pen in Mocha. The pen wasn't as wide as I would like, so did double strokes for each letter, then edged them with a black Micron pen. As a final touch I added some Java Bean Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter in each of the square diamonds and sponged some Distress Gathered Twigs around the edges.

I'm content... You can click on card image to see a larger version. Enjoy.

And it fits for these challenges:
Fashionable Stamping  #28  Use your favorite ice cream color (Chocolate)
Desert Island Crafts  #36 use any 3:  blue, green, something wet, sparkle, brads/eyelets, swirls/flourishes, for a boy, no DP, embossing, flowers
Top Tip Tuesday  #83 one layer card
Drunken Stampers  #94  anything chocolate or hamburger
Tuesday Throwdown  #111 Sweet treat

Wonderful One Layer! So original, and your lettering is absolutely sensational - I'm a great lover of traditional calligraphy, so for me this really steals the show!
