MC Sept/12 - Autumn Grapes - Every End

OK so now I made my autumn card that I thought I'd be making this morning... went in a different direction than first thought, but like the results.

I used a brass stencil (which I thought was by  Dreamweaver, only to realize it's a Ling Art Studio stencil #BS025) - c'est la vie.

Sponged Distress colors through stencil on a cream toned card and then realized I had the stencil upside down. I know some days just go this way... So I cut the design away from the card, turned it right side up (but now my design is at the bottom, and I wanted it on the top...) and new I had to put something on top, so sponged the leaves, overlapping them to fill the space. Stamped the quote (Quietfire Design) with Versafine "Imperial Purple" and clear embossed. Adhered it to my now purple card.

Stamped the Blanket Stitch around the edge with Versafine "Toffee" and embossed with "Queen's Gold". Lay the stencil back over the lower design and applied a thin coat of Dreamweaver paste, when dry, added a pencil line with a 2B pencil along the shadow edges, blended with a paper stump. Also touched a bit of purple to the grapes with a Distress marker and blended with a water brush. On the upper leaves, touched them with a Quickie Glue Pen along the edges and sprinkled with Glitter Ritz "Green Highlights"
