MC Sept/12 - Quill Gold Leaf - Snowflakes


 
I had this urge to make gold edged quill strips. You can buy them and they are gorgeous, but not cheap... hence wanting to try to make them myself - but that will be for another post, because one thing led to another and I said to myself, why not try making gold leafed quill strips. And that's what these two snowflakes are made with. Love them. One has the gold leaf on the inside of the coil, while the other has it on the outside of the coil. Not sure which I prefer...

I kept the design of the card on the simpler side - especially for me. And am using Quietfire Design Xmas stamps from previous years. NOTE: the new release of Xmas stamps will be coming out real soon.
