Hope you commented on my Quietfire Blog hop post to win some rubber... you have 8 chances to win something.
One of the new ideas were "Cuddlers" single stamps stamped individually but cuddled up to another word stamp. Love that idea. In calligraphy we do that all the time... got me thinking, I have tons of Suzanne's stamps and lots of them have larger words, so I used the "Snowflake" word from "Snowflakes are the fairydust..." and one of the newest "cuddler" words "wonder" for my sentiment. Love the results.
I'm also using a gadget I made to color the edge of my quill strips with a bead of Krylon gold leafing for my quilled snowflake.
Anyway to see more details and descriptions, just click on card image and enjoy.
And as I mentioned I'm using Quietfire Design calligraphic stamps.
And it fits for these challenges:
Everybody Art Challenge #209 glimmer/bling
Flourishes #191 anything to do with winter
Trimmies Crafts #176 monochromatic
Cupcake Inspiration #182 (see pic below)

This is very pretty Yogi, I love the background effects and the words stamped in 2 colors.
Wow, Yogi, this is more a Quilling wonder than a Snowflake Wonder! Great combination of stamps!
what a great idea.. and I love everything...
Thanks
Very pretty. I am curious about 'ironing off' the embossing. Is that how you got the layered effect with the words? Looks so good, I may just have to play with that.
So beautiful Yogi, and what a great 'gadget' you designed! One of those "Doh, why didn't I think of that?" times :)
very good!
Yogi, Love the idea of using the two stamps....
