MC Oct/12 - Trick or Treat Goodies

click on card to see larger version
I thought I was finished making Halloween cards... but here I am with another one. ROFL

All the word/sentiment stamps are from the halloween collection by Quietfire Design.

I just got these 2 Jar dies from Memory Box. Love them, and thought they would be perfect to hold a witches goodies...

I die cut the jars from both white cardstock and clear plastic. Stamped my various images with Versafine Black Onyx. Each tag & jar has sponged Distress colors (shades of Purples, Aged Mahogany, Walnut Stain and a touch of a dirty green sponge). For the spider jar, I glued the clear jar on top of the stamped jar with Glossy Accents. - Can't let those spiders out...

The main card is white 5"w x 6,5"h side folded. Stamped the sentiment with Perfect Medium and clear embossed.  Sponged the purples and Mahogany all over, then the edges with the Walnut Stain. Misted and sprinkled with water and dried.

Stamped the labels with the black and just cut them out with a scissor. Punched a small hole in some of the tags and tied a piece of metallic red string. Adhered them to the jars then onto the card.

Glued down some blue yarn for the "Wool of Bat" and some Black Eyed Peas for the "Eye of Newt".
Punched out 2 hissing black cats and a black bat (Martha Stewart punches).

And it fits for these challenges:

Terrific card, Yogi, just the right touch of macabre and fun for Halloween. Is there such a thing as too many Halloween cards? LOL

Love the jars, and yes, glue down the one to make sure the spiders don't get out (ew, don't like those!). Thanks for playing with us at Opus Gluei!
