MC Nov/12 - Dreamweaver CAS - Season's Greetings

ID: MC Nov/12 - Dreamweaver CAS - Season's Greetings
This month's challenge over on the Dreamweaver site is a CAS card.

I don't think I've used this stencil before (LJ900) and it fit my mood today, bare branches with some glitz... It's been snowing all day here in Calgary - a little depressing even as beautiful as the snow looks, and we're only up to -7º C (about 24ºF) as a high temp... Not my kind of weather.

I taped down my stencil down on a 5"w x 6.5"h white card and spread the regular white paste all over, then sprinkled Distress "Walnut Stain" embossing powder, removed the stencil and heat set the powder. (washed off my stencil). Adhered two sizes of red Rhinestones.

Stamped my sentiment (Quietfire Design) with Versafine Satin Red and hit it lightly with Olympian Green, stamped and clear embossed. Voila, card done. Can't get simpler than that...

Click on card image to see a larger version. Enjoy.

And it fits for these challenges:
Dreamweaver Stencils  Nov CAS
TSG Clear Stamps  #180 Use soemthing to dress up the image (rhinestones)
City Crafter  #134 use a star and something sparkly
Do You Stack Up  #97 Leaves and trees (well the leaves all fell off, only the brown stubs left...)
Southern Girls Challenge  #57 Xmas
Oozak Challenge  Monthly #8 Winter Vibes

Added Dec 2, 2012: I just found out I won for best interpretation of the challenge on the Dreamweaver site and am getting my choice of paste and a stencil... I picked the Koi LG613 and copper paste.
