MC Dec/12 - CC Breeze - Peace

I got my last pre-order embossing folder from Scraping Great Deals the other day and just loved it - Couture Creations "Breeze". Had to play with it. This is the 2nd card I made. Will upload the 1st and 3rd ones later...

My friend came over for a play day and asked me how I could get a silver and gold look on her cards... so I started playing with my pigment inks, since Distress pads wouldn't give her the more metallic look she wanted. Anyway, one thing led to another and this is the result from one of those roads. BIG GRIN. Absolutely love the gold area with the red from "Festive Berries" stamp pad. It was the perfect red!!

So to see more details and descriptions, just click on card image and enjoy.

I'm using one of the Textured Xmas word stamps from Quietfire Design.

And it fits for these challenges:
Creative Card Crew  #25 Star (the 3 buttons)
Cute Card Thursday  #246 Red & green
Do You Stack Up  #101 Silver & Gold
Alphabet Challenge  V for Vintage
Crafts 4 Eternity  #101 any combo of Red, Green Kraft & yellow/gold
Crafty Mess Challenge  #23 Vintage Xmas
Mark's Finest Papers  #137 Red & Green

Love the effects you have got with the experimenting and think I'll have to give your technique a try too.

Question - how are you getting on with your self-imposed challenge from February to use only the scraps? I'd love to know :) Elizabeth xx
