MC Dec/12 - Snowflakes - Gift

Our Guild's Xmas Potluck is this week, so I needed to make a gift wrapped item...
So used cardboard from the packaging from my flooring, re-used some of the white tissue paper for inside and created my wrapping paper and embellies...

Stamped the snowflakes sentiments (Quietfire Design) several times on some white wrapping paper weight paper. The Merry snowflake with Versafine Toffee and embossed with Queen's Gold. The Christmas Snowflakes with Versafine Smoky Grey and embossed with Silver. The flourish snowflakes with the Grey and embossed with Pearlescent.

Wrapped a silver metallic ribbon and attached the medallion to the ribbon for easy removal and saving of the wrapping paper. BIG GRIN.

The medallion was from the leftover piece from my last project, trimmed down a bit and then punched with Martha Stewart's Punch around the Page "Iron Gate". Punched circle on the base which i applied Sookwang tape to to press down the rosette. The merry sentiment stamped and embossed as above and die cut with Spellbinders Scalloped Circles. The edges hit with the Toffee stamp pad and embossed with the gold, then adhered to the top of the rosette.

I thought I'd add one of the origami ornaments I've been making this year... It's just some white calligraphy paper, then I hit the edges with the toffee pad and embossed with the gold. Kept it simple. Added the purple/gold ribbon hanger. You can see my first blog post about them here.

And it fits for these challenges:
