MC Jan/13 - Dreamweaver - Thank you
One of the prizes I won for the December Dreamweaver challenge was this Thank you stencil. really nice...
Suzanne from Quietfire Design has fabulous Thank You stamps as well, so thought I'd pair the two together.
I stamped the script sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx, then made a mask using tracing paper. The Thank you stencil didn't have enough space between the two words, so did one portion at a time. Placed the "Thank" part in the area I wanted, masked everything off and applied Pan Pastels in rainbow colors using little sponge tip applicators. You know me, gotta use every color BIG GRIN. I then applied a coat of Dreamweaver paste (the regular white one). When dry the vibrant colors from the Pan Pastels became beautifully muted. Love using this technique. When dry, moved my stencil and repeated the procedure for the "You".
I then used Tim's edge distresser around the card edge. Then used my hard rubber mallet and embossed the words using the Cuttlebug "Thanks" embossing folder. Sponged some Distress "Picked Raspberry" around the edges.
That's it. clean and simple... for me anyway. ROFL

And it fits for these challenges:

Southern Girls Challenge #60 Thank you
Frosted Designs Gift Giving (you gotta say thank you after receiving a gift BIG GRIN)
One Stop Craft Challenge #212 Thank you
