I took a 2 day workshop with Mike Gold last weekend "Contemporary Scripts". Way out of my comfort zone. I'm not really in to abstract or unreadable calligraphy. Not that we were going to those extremes in this class, but that's the direction contemporary calligraphy seems to be going...Anyway, I've uploaded the work I did HERE during the class. Enjoy.

I see what you mean. I rather like these art pieces, but the actually calligraphy really is unreadable. Fun to learn something new and perhaps tweak it to fit your style more.
