MC July/13 - Mannequin - Thank You Sew much
I came across a couple mannequin card designs that I really liked done by Leslie Miller. She used Loralie stamps. Since I didn't have any of these stamps, I just drew it free hand and then outlined it with a pointed pen and Sumi ink, cut it out and colored with Prisma colored pencils, then adorned it with a quilled flower and a bunch of die cuts. Love the way it turned out.
I side folded a white card (5.5"w x 4.25"h, with the floral detail 6"h), ran through my machine with the Sizzix "Dot" embossing folder.
I had the purple metal die cut from a while back (Marianne Designs LR0236). I cut out the middle section and adhered a white piece in it's place. Stamped the sentiment (Quietfire Design) using Versafine Imperial Purple and clear embossed, then wrote in my words underneath "Sew Much" with a Micron pen. Adhered to card. added the purple sewing line detail with a Zig Writer.
The die cuts I used on the mannequin are Memory Box "Honey Blossom" & Marianne Designs LR0116. added a half pearl to the head flower.
And it fits for these challenges:
