MC Aug/13 - Sing As If No One is Listening

I've been itching to use this latest set  "The woods would be very silent" of bird stamps from Quietfire Design since they came out, but was told to WAIT... sheesh. I finally got the go ahead. Big Grin Isn't that chickadee so cute. And I absolutely love the saying.

I side folded a white card 5"w x 7"h.

Stamped all my elements on some tracing paper and then started placing them around on my card front till I was happy. Stamped everything with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed as I went along, creating a mask here or there with the tracing paper images.
( Tree Branch: Stamp Barn "HSH2671; Lady: Stampavie "Mummu MM004")

Lightly colored the elements with Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils and my waterbrush.

Cut out a large oval (Spellbinders) and used it as a mask to sponge the Distress "Tumbled Glass" around the card leaving a white center.

Selectively embossed some areas using a Cuttlebug "Musical" embossing folder and my trusty hard rubber mallet.

Tied some silk ribbon in mauve/pink for her braid and adhered with Golden's extra heavy gel medium.
Added the tiniest amber rhinestone for the bird's eye and a very small half pearl for her earring.
Used a Copic Multiliner to do the faux stitching using my oval mask to get the stitching land where I wanted...

Split the Happy Birthday (Quietfire Design "10 tiny word" set) stamp apart so I had a space between the words for my "number"

Click on images to enlarge. Enjoy

And it fits for these challenges:
