MC Sept/13 - Quill - The Woods Would Be

I'm continuing to play with my newest acquisition... My Silhouette Cameo. Loving it. So cut out this flourishy thing and used the negative as a stencil.

Side folded my white card to 5"w x 7"h. Used the stencil in various areas and sponged Distress "Shaded Lilac". Sponged Broken China lightly around the edges

The positive flourish I inked up with Distress Seedless Preserves and embossed with a mix of The Artful Stamper "Tanzanite" & Stampendous "Pearl Lustre Amethyst". Then added Inkadinkadoo "Sky Blue" and then clear embossed everything. Adhered to card front.

The bird (Marianne Designs LR0138) and birdcage (Memory Box "Vintage Bird Cage") was die cut, sponged with Distress colors, greenish, mauves for bird and for leaves and bluish for birdcage. The birdcage was then clear embossed.

Butterfly (Joy Craft "BFlies & Border) was die cut from white cardstock and glittered (from my stash so not sure what glitter I used...)

The quilled flowers were made quite some time ago from white paper which I colored on one side with the blue. Added aqua rhinestones to the centers.

Stamped the quote "The Woods Would Be..." set, one of the newest from Quietfire Design with Versafine "Blue Lagoon" and clear embossed.
