MC Oct/13 - OLW Orange - Thank You

click on image to enlarge - enjoy
I was extremely productive yesterday. I don't know when the last time was that I created as many cards in one sitting as I did - 8 in total. Sheesh... Anyway I decided to break it down in to more manageable posts - BIG GRIN, this being the first one.

I was really in a mood to do the One Layer Wednesday card which ask to use Orange...

It's a white card side folded to 5.5"w x 4.25"h. I used Tim's stencil "Stripes" - a new acquisition which I wavered upon, but so glad I ended up buying it... and sponging Distress "Wild Honey" and then "Ripe Persimmon". It gave such a nice rich orange.

Stamped the oval Thank You sentiment (Quietfire Design) with Versafine Black Onyx.

Then tied an orange bow in the center, cutting slits to weave it under my stamping. Voila Done...

And it fits for these challenges:
One Layer Wednesday  #163 Orange
Scribbles Designs  #10 shades of orange
A Simple Five  #126  anything goes
