MC Oct/13 - Quill Curlicue Leaves cards

And the last 2 cards from yesterday's batch of 8 cards in one day...

I guess this is a bit of cheating since the quilled elements were made previously at my quilling sessions over at Paper Pastimes...

They are both sided folded 5.5"w x 4.25" h white card and embossed with Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" embossing folder.

Stamp sentiment and quote by Quietfire Design

The leaves were made with a quilling tool I made and the upper side was hit with a Perfect Medium pad (clear embossing pad) and embossed with "Queen's Gold" embossing powder.

The flower on the 2nd card was also embossed with the gold.

Card 1: I electronically cut the Poinsettia (a Flourishes stamp), then stamped using Distress "Picked Raspberry" and clear embossing. I did this twice so I cut have extra petals which I pasted under the top layer. I die cut the pine sprigs (Memory Box). Stamped the sentiment with Versafine "Toffee" and embossed with the gold. In the center of the flower I added some Ranger black Enamel Accents.

Card 2: On this card I added some flourishes. Stamped only half the quote on the front, with the balance of the quote on the inside.

On the inside stamped the flower sprig a couple times (Flourishes) with the black and colored with Prsima colored pencils.

These are beautiful inside and out. I love the delicate quilling. It looks wonderful next to the texture of the background. The gold detailing looks gorgeous. Thanks for joining our Think Pink challenge at Craft Your Passion Challenges. I hope we see you again soon.
