I side folded my white card (5"w x 7"h) layered a red Ruche cardstock leaving a 1/4" border all around.
Stamped the circle Xmas sentiment (Quietfire Design) with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Die cut with Spellbinders "Standard Circles Large" and adhered to card.
Die cut the candle (Dees's Distinctively) from white cardstock. Sponged a Distress dirty red on the body. Embossed using a narrow embossing folder of snowflakes, then sponged a bit more red.
For the wax drippings, I applied white Puff paint, and heat activated, but found it wasn' realistic enough, so smeared some Deco Art Snow Writer... now it was OK.

Hit the quilled branches with a Versamark pad and embossed with Stamp n Bond, heat activated and then applied Distress "Star Dust" glitter. Adhered them to card.
Die cut the acorns (Elizabeth Craft Designs) from white cardstock. Sponged a Distress dirty brown all over the solid piece. on the openwork piece I applied Versafine Toffee and embossed with Midnight Gold Obsidian" embossing powder. Adhered the layers together and then onto the card adding a couple pieces 3 D foam tape.
