MC Dec/13 - eCut Snowflake Frame - My Idea

I just got the newest Xmas stamps from Quietfire Design... they're fabulous, so had to use a couple of them.

I side folded my white card (4.25"w x 5.5"h), layered a piece of white Ruche cardstock, leaving a 1/8" border all around.

e Cut the snowflake frame, which I stretched into an oval instead of keeping it as a circle the way it comes. I cut one at approx 5.5" h, and one at 4.15" h.

The larger one I applied Distress Emboss It liquid dauber around the edges, making sure I covered it enough for the next layer to hide the rest. Embossed it with Silver Fire Opal embossing powder. adhered it to card.

Stamped the quote ("My Idea of a Perfect...") with Versafine Black Onx on the smaller frame and clear embossed it. Adhered to center of larger frame.

Final touch added a snowflake die cut (Sizzix Tim's Movers & Shapers snowflake) which was cut from a piece of white cardstock with Sookwang tape on either side. Removed the release paper on one side and sprinkled with Distress "Star Dust" glitter, then adhered it to the card removing the other side of the release paper.

On the inside I stamped the quote ("Those we love...") with the black and clear embossed. I used the negative shape of the snowflake frame as a stencil and pounced a sponge with Distress Tumbled Glass. Removed the stencil and stamped the snowflake (part of the same set) several times with the same blue.
