MC Dec/13 - Tim's Flower - Love is What's In The Room

I was inspired by Tim's December tag - surprisingly enough I had Wendi Vechi's "Clearly For Art" moldable plastic which I think I bought last year and never used... (it's a little on the expensive side, so new I had to do something special with it...) I didn't have Tim's Frosted Film (which I have now ordered...) so instead sanded the plastic to give it the frosted look, it also made it better for applying the alcohol inks.
I side folded my 5"w x 7"h white card. Stamped the background (Cornish Heritage Farms "Music Sheet") using Distress "Pumice Stone". Sponged Distress "Vintage Photo" & "Gathered Twigs" around the edges.

eCut the frame which was inspired by Spellbinder's "Metal Tags" die set which I recently saw on a friend's blog (Leslie Miller). Sponged "Picked Raspberry" all over the frame and clear embossed, then went over it again with the pad heavily and touched it with some brown and clear embossed again. Gave it a nice distressed look. Adhered it to card.

Stamped the quote (one of the newest Xmas stamps from Quietfire Design) on the frame's drop out piece using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Hit the edges with the brown sponge and adhered into the frame.

As I said above, sanded the clear plastic and die cut with Tim's Tattered Flowers die. Dropped A couple colors of red alcohol ink and pounced with my felt. Edged each petal with a Krylon Gold Leafing pen. Warmed up the plastic with the heat gun and then immediately shaped the petal. Pierced a hole in the center of each floret and assembled them together and onto the card with a large pink brad.

eCut the berry twigs/foliage, adding linear designs for the leaf veins, using Viva red Pearl pen for the berries, allowing that to dry and then putting a tiny dab of Ranger's white Enamel Accents. The other twig, I embossed with Distress "Walnut Stain" embossing powder to give it a rough texture. Adhered them under the red flower.

I hate having brad legs show on anything, so covered it up with a smaller version of the frame minus the picots. Stamped the sentiment (also from Quietfire Design) with the black.
