Another good quilling session this past Wednesday. Besides celebrating a friend's BD with yum treats etc., and having a fun time creating box envelopes to hold our cards using the We R Memories envelope punch, I also got around to doing some quilling BIG GRIN
This is another one of the Gelli plate backgrounds I was working on a couple days ago, using Memento dye inks, a brayer, a die cut shape as a mask, and then transferring all of this to my card front. Love the soft look of the colors.
I used a Spellbinder's oval die set as well as Gold Corner Set One. There are 3 shapes of corners to this set and this is my favorite one. Love those little pointy ends... Sponged Distress "Crushed Olive" into the crevices. The bees are eCraft Design die set cut from white cardstock and then colored with stamp pad inks and embossed. I added Wink of Stella clear iridescent brush pen to the wings to give them a bit of glitter.
Stamped the quote (Quietfire Design) using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.
Added a whole pack of flourish pearls (Michael's Recollection brand), then adhered my quilled flowers, adding some yellow glitter in the centers using a Viva Glitter Liner "Yellow Quartz".
As a final touch added the fuchsia colored string bows to the corners.

And it fits for these challenges:
