MC Feb/14 - Side Easel - Life is a Pure Flame - HB

I finally got around to making a side easel card thanks to the nudge from one of my friends who made one for another friend. Great to have friends. BIG GRIN

This one will probably be for my uncle. I think it suits him.

Love the way it turned out and the colors I used. Some new buttons and finally using some of my yucky cardstock that really works well here. I dislike double sided cardstock... it usually has that yucky pattern on it, but since I got it from another friend, and I never throw anything away, I'm glad I finally used some of it.

Anyway you can see all the details and descriptions by click on card image. Enjoy

I'm using both a quote stamp and sentiment stamp from Quietfire Design

And it fits for these challenges:
Scribbles Design  #14 frame it
Reasonable Ribbon  #89 for a guy + ribbon/twine
Kaboodle Doodles  #211 buttons & twine
Lexis Creations  #110 monochrome
Papertake Weekly  Layering or dimension
Top Tip Tuesday  #121 stitching
Fab n Funky   #204 spots or stripes
Penny's Challenges  #165 lots of layers
Cute Card Thursday  #309 buttons & bows
Simply Create Too  #55 St Pat's or green
Sister Act Challenge  #45 anything goes
Quirky Crafts  #4 layer it up or 3D it

Lovely card and great side easel design. Nice to see someone other than me, thinking 'outside the box' with our theme. Just a hint of stripe then? Thanks for joining us for this weeks challenge at Fab 'n' Funky. Hugs, Wends x
