A friend brought in a birdhouse type plaque that her husband made from wood - I really liked it. BIG GRIN so you know me... had to make one... my first one is a card and will be uploaded on Sunday - I'm a guest designer on the Quirky challenge. But then I'm looking at it and saying to myself, I want to make one out of foam core which mimics the wood thickness and look more... eventually I'll make one out of wood when I can get in to my basement... that's another story.
Anyway I really love the way all the elements came together for this piece. I'm using a quote, sentiment and Chickadee stamp from Quietfire Design.

Hi there Yogi - I had a good look at this one before I read the 'write up' and I thought "card, card - what on earth is she talking about???" I seriously thought this was a wooden plaque. How bloomin' lovely! I think the shape, the flowers, birds and especially the sentiment are all amazing. Just love this one.
