MC Apr/14 - eCut MOM cards

I created a couple eCut cards using "Mom" & "Flourished Roses" from Quietfire Design which will be available on the Silhouette Online store.

Both cards are side folded 5.5"w x 4.25"h white.

The first one I cut from white cardstock as a joined image of the word & roses.
I used the Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" embossing folder to add texture.

Then I adhered stripes of "Sari" ribbon in various colors, then adhered the eCut.
For the 2nd card I embossed a floral design border (Darice "Flourishes" set) about 1/3 the way down on the card front, cut the 2 elements. The roses I heavily embossed with Queen's Gold embossing powder, but when I went to put the glue on the back I really liked the slight gold rim I had all around the eCut... then colored it in with prisma colored pencils. The "Mom" piece I embossed with a couple shades of ochre and brown embossing powders, then overlayed on the roses.

I added some monoline lettered words "moments of madness" which can be used if you don't have a mother anymore, or maybe you do... ROFL.
