MC Aug/14 - Quill Wheat - Urban Meets Suburban - Sometimes Said Pooh

I was working on these wheat sheaf yesterday, and today put it together, using the bricks as a background - urban meets suburban...

I side folded my white card (4"w x 8.5"h). Inked up my brick background stamp (Cornish Heritage Farms) using Distress mini pads ("Antique Linen") then hit it here and there with "Worn Lipstick" and "Frayed Burlap", misted with water and stamped. repeated to fill the card background.

Stamped the quote (Quietfire Design) using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Adhered my quilled elements. Then adhered some flowers and the butterfly from my stash. Added some white half pearls in the flower centers.

I left the inside blank to fill in later since this could work for a lot of different occasions.

Love this card, the stamping is fab and your quilling is amazing. Those corns look so real! It reminds me of the corn dollies that used to be made in the churches when I was a young girl around harvest time. Thanks for joining in with us at Stamping Sensations this month. Maddy x
