MC Aug/14 - Quill - Whimsical Bouquet - Get Well Soon

I am continuing to play with my jumbo comb gadget (Jumbo Comb Tutorial) I designed... and came up with these whimsical flowers and decided to put them on a get well card to hopefully brighten someone's day.

I side folded my cream toned card (5"w x 7"h). Stamped the mason jar (Deep Red) on some white cardstock using Versafine Black Onyx, then fussy cut around it. Also cut it in half so I could get a shorter version of the jar... Used Derwent Inktense watercolor pencil and a paint brush to paint the mason jar. Then used colored pencils to color the jar lid.

Adhered a piece of white lace and some Sari ribbon (Denim) on a diagonal. Then adhered the mason jar and lid.

Adhered my quilled elements. Then die cut and adhered some leaf swirly flourishes (Cheery Lynn Designs "Fanciful Flourish")  from decorated cardstock I had in my stash. I had a bunch of misc die cut leaves in my stash as well, which I put here and there.

The "Get Well Soon" is a Quietfire Design sentiment stamp ("Ten Tiny Sentiment" set), stamped with the black on cream toned cardstock, cut close, edges sponged with blue, hole punched and tied to mason jar. The "Whimsical Bouquet" is hand written using a Zig marker, cut close, sponged edges with a dirty blue sponge and adhered, then light blue rhinestones added.

I added a medium white half pearl in the center of one of the flowers. Also attached a unicorn charm (for luck and more whimsy...)
