I needed a thank you card for a friend... she went way and above... So I'm using the newest stamps from Quietfire Design (Being Thankful) 6 pce set, that is absoluetly perfect.Side folded the white card (5.5"w x 4.25"h). Masked of the rectangle in the center with post it notes. Sponged the area with a dirty pink sponge lightly. Used Tim's layering stencil "Doily" and sponged some greens, then added more intensity with Distress "Crushed Olive". Removed stencil and masking.
Stamped the words using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.
The felt for the rose was colored with Distress "Picked Raspberry" on salmon colored felt, misted with water, sprayed with some Perfect Pearls, then dried and die cut with Marianne Designs LR0162 larger die using my Cuttlebug. Loosely formed and glued together with a hot glue gun.
Adhered some end pieces of Sari ribbon, then the rose.
As a final touch added a flourish spray of pink pearls.

Pretty rose with the pearls, and so perfect with the stencil. Looks like they were made for each other, and in this case, I guess they were!

Lovely card. I've never tried stencils but you''ve created such a wonderful background on this card I may have to do some experimenting.
