MC Oct/14 - Glue Gun Stencil - Wicked

A friend sent me a link to someone who made stencils with a glue gun (Frugal Crafter)... OK so I had to make one. BIG GRIN It's got a lot of potential... I lay down my craft sheet and used my Martha Stewart hot glue gun and just started putting lines of glue down - horizontally and vertically. Let it cool completely and removed from my craft sheet. Lay it on a piece of white cardstock and sprayed with Dylusions sprays (purple and orange). PS I alos flipped the stencil over and sprayed the underside with the sprays and stamped with it. worked too... (that's for another post).

The stamps used are from Quietfire Design and is a fabulous Halloween stamp set. "Halloween Wicked Collection".  I also used an eCut from Suzanne available on the Silhouette onLine store that matches the stamp set. "Wicked".

I side folded my white card (5"w x 7"h). Layered with black cardstock, then with my stenciled piece.

Die cut the spiderweb corners (Cheery Lynn) from black cardstock, applied Versamark all over and clear embossed. Adhered to corners.

Adhered a piece of mango colored cardstock, then an orange gauze ribbon. eCut the word "Wicked" from white cardstock and eCut a shadow layer. Colored them while on the mat with Distress "Seedless Preserves" and embossed with "Tanzanite" embossing powder. Colored the shadow layer with "Peeled Paint" Adhered the two elements together, then on to the ribbon piece.

Stamped the rest of the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed on white cardstock. Trimmed very close to stamping and edged with a dirty purple sponge. Adhered to card.

Punched out the spider (Punch Bunch) from black cardstock. Applied glue to the body and sprinkled with black Flower Soft. Adhered to card and adhered a piece of green thread.

On the inside, stamped part of another quote using the black and clear embossed.

Stamped the "Mason Jars" (Deep Red) using the black and moving the stamp on the other jar to get a smaller jar. Colored with Prisma colored pencils, and the lids with Super Ferby metallic colored pencils. Stamped the names on the jars with the black and clear embossed. Hand drew the border around them

Stamped the sentiment "Trick or Treat" with the black on white cardstock and clear embossed. die cut with Spellbinders "Wonky Rectangles" and sponged edges with the purple sponge. Adhered to card.
