I've finally gotten around to making a wreath from snowflakes... It's been in the back of my mind for a while along with a few other type of wreaths...
I side folded my white card (4.25"w x 5.5"h). Embossed with Crafters Companion "Merry Christmas" embossing folder - love these newest folders I bought this month...
Die cut a circle (Spellbinders) from olive green cardstock. Stamped the sentiment (Peace on Earth) using Versafine "Toffee" and embossed with Queen's Gold" embossing powder. Punched out a bunch of snowflakes (Martha Stewart "Alpine Snowflake") from white cardstock, applied white glue all over and sprinkled with Stickles glitter, some with "Diamond" (which has a bluish sheen to it) and some with "Star Dust". Adhered a row around the circle, then adhered an overlapping row using 3D foam tape. Punched out some pine sprigs (McGill "Pine Branch") and colored with various Distress green pads. Adhered them here and there.
Adhered a piece of green/gold Sari ribbon and then the wreath, adding a bow with hot glue.
On the inside stamped the quote (Snowflakes are Kisses) with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Die cut an oval (spellbinders) from tracing paper to use as a mask. Stamped the large snowflake (Bo Bunny) using the Toffee and embossing with the gold. Had a few glittered snowflakes left over, so adhered them as well.
Quote and sentiment stamps from Quietfire Design.
