MC Oct/14 - Xmas Scene - Love Lives Here

One of my newest acquisitions... another stamp, but couldn't resist - sigh!!! (Stampendous "Christmas Cottage").

Stamped the scene using Versafine Black Onyx. Colored with Derwent watercolor pencils, water and a paint brush.

Stamped the sentiment with the black, clear embossed and cut close to the text, rounding the corners, sponging with a dirty red sponge. adhered to card and added the two chartreuse colored rhinestones.

Kept it simple on the inside by just stamping the larger quote with the black.

This will be an easy card to reproduce a few times...

I'm using sentiment and quote stamps from Quietfire Design.

Click on either image to enlarge. Enjoy.

And it fits for these challenges:

Hi Yogi, what a gorgeous card - the cottage scene is beautifully coloured. Had to chuckle at your 'dirty red sponge' - conjures up quite an image :) Elizabeth xx
